Fuel Iine help

Does anyone know a trick to getting the fuel line off the fuel rails without using a disconnect tool ??

the disconnect tool costs about $4.
GM/Ford - 5/16 and 3/8.

Push the two sections of fuel line together firmly...insert tool...pop... that is the trick.

Thanks man, the only thing is that I'm in Italy and there isn't a GM dealer here (imagine that), so I'll have to order the tool ... damn the bad luck.

Doesn't have to be a GM dealer. Alot of cars use the same style connector, so an auto parts store should have it....unless things are way different over there.

check out this link. about 1/3 way down the page I have pics of what the disconnect tool looks like. It is "ford/gm quick disconnect tool...5/16 - 3/8"

It only costs a few dollars...here in the states. Good luck. G
