ok i have a 98 3.8L camaro and just recently put the magnaflow catback exhaust on it...for 98's the stock S pipe is welded onto the catylic converter...so i cut the stock S pipe off and mounted up the magnaflow S pipe...i had to unhook the 02 sensor in the stock S pipe to get it off....now my "service engine soon" light comes on and stays on...i know it was because i unplugged the sensor but how do i get ride of it or fix it??

when i put on my header, high flow cat, and custom s pipe my ses light always stays on. i'm not going to worry about it till inspe. time rolls around in a year. but yeah^^^^^ o2 sim. if your worried and you just want to know what code is being pulled up you can go to autozone and they will pull the code for you and tell you what it is for free as long as that light is on. doesn't hurt to just know
