Well, i figured id share my homemade intake pics with you guys. Since the stock intake sucks on the 3.8l pre99+ models, and didnt feel like paying alot of money on a slp, which seems to be the only intake available, i decided to make my own, and not make it look ghetto.

The cars feels lighter, and sounds way better. It gets a cool sucking sound, and sounds alot better at WOT. And looks really good. [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img]

The filter sits just above the sway bar, and has plenty of space from the radiator fans. And due to its location it doesnt get drity fast.

Look out for big puddles.
EDIT: Just saw the pics and you wouldn;t have to worry about the puddle thing unless you decided to go fast through one.

Just went to check how far it is from the road. The bottom part of the filter sits 11 1/2 inches from the road.

And i live in arizona, No big puddles, or even rainy days. the shroud under the radiator is infront of it so driving fast over a puddle wouldnt do much.

Clean the filter often,maybe a few thousand miles when you change your oil.That thing will probably get dirty quick.
