I did a search and found a few people complaining about the egr part not being threaded and the y pipe provided not reaching the cat. I was just wondering if Pacesetter has fixed this or not or if these were just flukes.
Also (kindof related) just how hot do headers get??
Most EGR pipes aren't threaded on aftermarket headers....so you just need a small bolt. The instructions on my headers say that it will slip onto the 1.5" section in front of the cat after you hacksaw the old y-pipe off. Header temp varies greatly depending on engine and power adders involved....but 1000F isn't unreasonble for exhaust temp.
