• Does this Exhaust setup sound good?

Here is what I am brainstorming right now...

I already have a 2.5" Magnaflow HF Cat.

2.5" Piping
Resonator
Stainless Steel Straight-Thru Muffler

The muffler will probaly be Magnaflow.
I know that If I do this, that I will lose the Y87 Dual Exhaust Appearence :( . But if this is a good setup, then I'll do it.

By the way, I already did Intake, and my local exhaust shop does excellent bending for a good price.

All responses appreciated!

how would u lose the duel exhaust appearance? Isn't Magnaflow duel exhaust? Those stock tailpipes are ugly

I am talking about a Single In-Single Out Straight-Thru Muffler. Not one that is mounted in the stock position.

They do make a Cat-Back and a replacement muffler to fit the stock position. If I do-not like the single straight muffler, then I will get that.

Better looking tips will take care of that!

I think the resnator will make the car sound too quiet and it will hurt the sound more than it would help it. Just my 2cents. Personally i think the 3.8 sounds the best with a ant chambered muffler; ie, flowmaster, ravin, edlebrock, etc.
