where to get 3" s pipe?

i cant seem to find JUST the s pipe..only 3" s pipes that come with complete exhaust systems..anybody know where i can order just the 3" s pipe???

get the 3 inch U pipe from jegs

cut it in half and weld it into an S shape.

Hey DV6.

I just had to get the s pipe as well. You could get the u bend and cut it and flip it, but i found the adaptor kit (#30045) on jegs for like 45 bucks. It's just what you need for only a little more than the u bend.

Also, when i talked to the guy he said it was ss. It was backordered until like june 6th, but they have expedited mine at no extra charge and i should get it anyday. I'll have to make sure it is indeed stainless when i get it. I also got the 3" bullet muffler for like 35 bucks. I am really looking forward to this set up.

On a completely different subject, i have been checking your site alot on really like your sub enclosure. Did you make it or buy it and was the nitrous area already built in. I only use my car like a 2 seater and would love a removable box like that and i dont really want a hatch one.

I did like Loochy said, cut the U-Pipe from jegs and re-welded it to an S-Pipe. Works great!

Red..do you know that adaptor would fit a 98? ..also..email me about the sub box..i'll let you in on the design of it..my own :D ..and i believe the guy i sold it to is selling it for the same reason i did..got hooked on the drag strip

Loochy..just getting the 3" u-pipe and cutting it exactly in half is all you had to do?

im also looking at getting a 3" bullet muffler too..and possibly a 3" high flow cat..for a full 3" system with the same high flow i have now but with better sound quality..thanks a lot guys! [img]smile.gif[/img]

the slp adaptor kit is the 30045 part on jegs. I believeit is for 28-2002. I bought it for about 45 bucks on jegs. I'll email you when i get home tonight.

thats the same one i got. If you wanna wait a couple days before ordering it i can make sure it is the exact thing it should be and that it fits perfect on my car. I have a 2k and it should be the same as yours. I should get it anyday and will get it on immediately.
