From the Pacesetter web site...
PaceSetter Headers are available with standard black painted finish or Armor*Coat, a polished, 2000 Degree F, metallic-ceramic coating. Each header undergoes an extensive preparation phase followed by two applications of the coating and a high-temp curing process. The Armor*Coat won't discolor like paint, chrome or dull finish coating, reduces underhood temperatures, resists rust and corrosion and is easy to keep clean.

hey coated headers are always best and they can add color to your under hood area also i wouldnt buy the headers i would have them custom made by someone who knows what tthere doing there is alot of tech... that goes into those headers ie: diameter sizing and length special bends ect. and they should be custom made and fitted to your car for best results see me at scfba.net

I don't think they could be any hotter than the stock manifolds. I have a thermal gun and it showed them at about 600*F :eek:2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT 1 of 701
ET : TBD
But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun! coated headers also keep the hot gasses INSIDE the pipe, causeing better velocity... from what i read, it makes it suck the exhaust right out of the cylinder head...something like that.. heh96 Camaro M5.
