  • Flowmaster catback is on... a little disapointed

a little dissapointed, it sounds deeper but not louder. The tips look very small (hiding in with the ground effects) and are hardley noticable. As for performance, didn't notice a difference, except for a little loss in low end torque, but then again haven't been to the track. I got the 2.5", if I were to do it again, I would have got the 3".

What exhaust did you have or was it stock?

I had a stock exhaust before, it sounds better and a little louder, i'll just wait for it to burn in more. It might sound louder with some pacesetter headers and a 3" cat. I still wish i went 3" catback tho. Stupid me.

I don't think you would notice any difference on the low end with the 3 inch but then again what do i know?

take it to the track and compare it to your old times. i think youll be quite happy after that. the sotp dyno doesnt work too well usually ;)

The 80 Series is worthless. Get a lower number or a different brand.

The 80 series is not worthless. It worked great with the 94 camaro I use to have and is awesome on my IROC. I noticed gains and it sounds great. If you go with the 3 inch, you will probably lose more torque. Just keep what you have. Remember, its a 6, its not going to sound like an 8.

I've groaned plenty about my set up which is thex exact one you have. Same problem, not loud enough! From what I've gathered, I'm pretty sure that the 3" in/out Catco Cat will increase the volume enough to satisfy. I didn't get a 3" i pipe because they couldn't bend 3", only 2.5"... everything was $70 so I settled =).

you have to understand that a section labeled exhaust/intake can only go so many places before things get repeated... ;)

2.5" going out is fine, but the inlet is supposed to be 3". I had the 2.5" random and have to return it now because of this. If only somebody made one that was 3" in and 2.5" out...
