A Coupla' Quick O2 "Q"s...exactly how many O2's R on a 97' 3.8L 'Bird?? Locations? Anyone have any good places 2 get 'em from, "reasonably priced", or recommendations on brands, etc. ? Do I need a hokey "Special Socket" 2 get 'em out with? R they usually seized in pretty good, or do they seem 2 come out freely 4 most?

Your gonna have 3 of em. 1 on each exhaust manifold and 1 after your cat. No idea where to get them for a really good price. As far as I know its going to suck getting the passenger side one out, you might need an angle'd socket extension. They will be in there pretty good, how many miles are on the car? The older they are, the more work its gonna take getting em out.2000 3800 II V6 Firebird<br />various small mods, bigger stuff later.

97- 3.8s have 4 O2 sensors, while 98+ only have 3. You can get an O2 sensor socket from an auto parts store to make it much easier to remove.Matt
