Instead of saying "XXX sounds like a$$", it'd be wise to say ,"I don't like XXX." or "I haven't heard many good reviews of XXX." Means the same thing ...besides, just because you've heard a certain setup on someone's car doesn't mean every car with it sounds like poop. For instance, I had a leak in my B&B catback soon after installation and it had a crappy raspy sound too it at low rpms...fixed it and now it sounds good again.

Also people complain about the FLowmaster's high end, but the newer AT FM has a resonator that is is supposed to help out some...how much, I can't say, haven't heard it yet.

        Q: Best sounding V6?
        A: Run tractor pipes!

        ...Not responsible for tickets incurred.

I wish people would stop saying "It sounds like a V8 down low, and a I4 up top" It does neither. It sounds...like a SIX...because...it is a SIX.

If you hear 350ci engines being wringed out at over 5,500 RPM they sound high too. Anything sounds high pitched at high RPM
I've heard LS1's at 6,000+ pass me up before. Sound wickedly loud, but from the pitch, volume aside, you'd probably peg it as a six cylinder. The 3.8L V6 sounds exactly like it is suppose to sound - like a larger size V6.

If it had two more cylinders it'd be an impressive 308ci. (5.0L)
And if it had two less it'd be a 154ci. (2.5L) which would make a pretty big 4-cylinder.

Its right in the middle of the two of those and there for it sounds exactly like it should - a V6.

I could show you a video of my exhaust all day long, that won't help you nearly as much as a sound clip of my exhaust.
