  • looking for exhaust

I have a 2001 camaro convert. And i am looking to get exhaust on my car. what is a good exhaust but doesn't cost a furtune? And i don't want it to sound like a rice burner. The mods i have now is free ram air. moved 02 sencer, k&n air filter, removed the air box silencer, And what else could i do that will not cost alot?

    Thanks for the help,
    Jack

the most talked about right now is the new flowmaster american thunder system. i ordered mine a couple of days ago and i cant wait to put it on. go to flowmasters website and just look for the 80 series to give you an idea. also people are talking about the dynomax brand. i think it is a little bit more low cost and sounds good. but just do some research here on the board and you will find soundclips and plenty of different opinions. good luck! I think that they almost all sound bitter higher pitched at high RPM's. From what I've heard the Spintech 343SC muffler or the Dynomax Super Turbo muffler sound the best all the way through the RPM band. Then , just have a exhaust shop make the piping for you. Anywhere from 2.5" to 3" is best...all personal preference. I like 3" :D
