  • Cutout RIGHT behind cat?

Is there room for a cutout like 3" behind the cat?

I didn't think there was because of the s-pipe being so close...

anyone have pics of under the car?

I don't know about right after the cat, most people put them right before it goes over the axle so it doesn't rattle the interior tremendously.

has anyone considered putting it before the cat? when I change out my cat this weekend im gonna run my car with the open manifolds and take a video for you guys of what it sounds like. If i like the sound before better then after the cat I might stick a cutout there. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

My cutout is right before the muffler, and I can get to it from the back of the car. I will try to get pics up soon. It sounds pretty nice until 4k, then I get a bad pop like the airflow is restricted.

I threw an electronic cover on my cutout, ended up doing it behind teh cat as well. Seemed the most logical best flow spot. I cut out my lighter and put the swtich in there, its nice to be able to close it up whenever I want

I just got my cut-out on Saturday. I mounted it before the rear axle. It sounds good, although at W.O.T. it can sound alittle ricey. I also put a nut on each bolt, then I put the plate on the cutout. So the cutout is partially open( about a 1/4" gap). My car feels much better during acceleration. I'll get some pics on my exhaust tonight and try and post them tomorrow.
