• 80 Series vs. Super Turbo SOUND CLIPS ?

Hey I know this is a very controversial topic i don't want to start another war if you have a sound clip of your car w/ either an 80 series flowmast or a dynomax super turbo. Would you either post it here or email it to me PLEASE??!!!
i cant figure out wich one i want and i want to hear them both. thanx ALOT to anyone who helps. Sh!t if some has a good enough sound clip and it makes my mind up i might even give you a spare leather wrapped t handle shift knob i have ! DEAL ?? :D

NOt great quality. I actually rolled my computer to the window and recorded with the window open. It turned out pretty decent.

THis is of the flowmaster. It was done about 2 years ago, and it was done before the muffler actually "burnt" in. I have videos of ym exhaust now. I'll be uploading them soon and posting from there.

Damn, that flowmaster clip sounds exactly like mine, it was WAY better then the turbo one, the flow sounded more beefy, and the turbo one sounded like it was trying to be beefy

Sure glad to hear you going with the flows, Great choice, I love mine, great thing is you can get the dual stainless steel pipes that come from the muffler and out, no tips, just two big pipes, mine have never rustend and always look great, just need a polishing rignt now after the rain, but those pipes really set the back of the car up real nice, esspecially when your walking towards your car from the rear, man it looks good. Just thought I'd let you know that your making a good choice

i think all of the "burn in" crap is BS flowmasters have a low rumble and do not sound very good at high rpms...I had one for about a year and half so im assuming it "burned in" haha just sounded horrible at high rpms i love how the super turbo sounds all the time

NO, they definitely burn in. After a month there is a noticable difference. I'd take the flows over a turbo because they sound so much better over low rpm's which is when most normal street driving occurs. When you're racing it who cares how it sounds on top end? It's all for the time, not sound when you're racing. A turbo won't sound like a V8, but a flowmaster sounds close.....

The flows definetly have 2 burn in. On my dad's Chevelle they sounded like *** @ first now they sound awesome.

Another way to get the Flowmaster sounding good is to get the carbon out of your engine by dogging the car and going really fast. It will go through the exhaust and clean it out. It will make a difference. I know, I tried it a couple months ago, all my friends noticed a differents and asked me about it before I even told them what I did.
