• aftermarket heads or P&P my stock? help me !!!

i've been thinking about getting some of the pacesetter headers they cost $265. I would also need to buy a y-pipe for them as well not sure on cost. my question is should i just try to P&P my stock heads or buy the aftermarket heads. i think i can get the port job done for $150/200. what would be best and is it worth it to do P&P on stock heads

do you kno what your doing?

if you can get them done professionally for 150-200 bucks.. i'd go that way. any mess up and you'll have to replace the heads.

if its done by someone else.. and they mess up, you can at least blame them and have them get you new heads...

oh sorry for that, I'm notgoing to P&P my heads. A local shop is going to do it but thats if they stick to the $150/200 range.

the headers seem highly priced for not having the y pipe. shop around. there are sure to be lower prices around.

look on Ebay. they have a lot for cheap.

150-200 is not a bad deal at all to get the heads ported and polished. get a 3 angle valve job as well.

SSM wants what...800 bucks for the 3 angle valve job and pnp heads?
