can someone tell me if installing a sensor on my driver side is an easy install. for whatever reason i was told to take it to the dealer

The driver's side is a breeze compared to the passenger side. I did all mine myself, but that one was aggravating as hell cuz you have to unplug the old connector from under the hood, then crawl under the car to actually unscrew the sensor, then reverse the process to install the new one. The hardest part of it was getting the pin that holds the connector back into its mounting hole.

depending on how long the sensor has been on the car, it may have rusted up real nice. mine was so bad when i did my headers that i actually ended up stripping the treads on the manifold and the sensor getting it out. i torched it, used penetrating grease, everything. it wouldnt budge. i finally tore it out.

Don't forget to get an O2 socket to get it out.

We wouldn't want to ruin it for you like that. Changing that passenger side sensor is an experience that will put you well on your way to mastering the art of profanity, my son..... :D

I'm just f*ckin' with ya. It's not that bad. Now when you go to change out a torque arm bushing, you'll swear so much you'll invent new phrases of obscenities, such as "sh*theaded whorebag" lol
