I was out looking at trans ams w/ the ws6 pkg on them, citing the diffs between their air box and ours. Since that rubber thing can be forced to move, can we install a ram air box and have a whisper lid on our cars and still have the rubber thing seal properly? I see that the trans am rubber thing is angled a bit from level. Any responses are welcome, just don't flame me too bad guys.

personally i think it would fit because the mounts are the same for the v6 and v8 airboxes BUT you would HAVE to have a ramair hood of some sort or it WILL NOT fit!! the ws6 with the whisperer lid barely fits under the slp H.O. hood, so yeah just get the hood, keep in mind that you would have to use the v6 whisperer lid cuz they are different from the v8's, hope that helps good luck.

cool, I know that the V6 whisper lid and ls1 whisper lid are different. I already have the V6 lid for my car. I am planning to get either the Ram Air H.O. hood or the Raptor hood?
