I am gonna order the headers, but I'm not sure what the ceramic coating does for the headers.
If it's only purpose is to keep the temp down, then I'll order them without the coating because I have about 125ft of header wrap sitting in my garage just waiting to be used.
Basically it keeps the temperature from soaking out of the headers, which does a couple things. 1) it keeps your engine bay temps down and 2) the exhaust gas velocity is then raised coming out of the heads because of the heat staying in the pipes. I believe the coating is definitely worth while, get it now before you regret it.

Not only that, but it makes your engine bay look a lot cleaner then having rusty headers sitting there for everyone to see.
I wouldn't buy any headers without coating (unless maybe stainless steel).
