Hi, now that I think I've found the right message board [img]smile.gif[/img] I'm trying to find my IAT sensor. I have a 1996 Pontiac Firebird, and found the section in my Haynes repair manual that covers this. But when I read through, I noticed that it only mentioned the locations of the IAT sensor for the '97 and earlier 5.7L V8, and the 3.4L V6, yet made no mention of the 3800 V6 IAT at all. It had all of the other sensor locations, and even the IAC valve location, but not the IAT. Could someone please help me in my quest to locate this?

it should be the very first electircal compnent that you find when you follow the air inake. It;s a 2 wire connector and shold be one black and one tan wire
