• Which muffler for 3.4?

Any suggestions? For right now i'm only going to get a different muffler. I'm considering Edelbrock or Flowmaster. Can anyone give me adive or sound clips on either for a 3.4?

I don't know about those two mufflers but I've been running a Magnaflow muffler. It's not the catback system, just a standard stainless steel with one 3" tip out back. There's nothing in it to restrict flow. You can see straight though it be it's put on. A little raspy at high rpm, but not in a rice way. Sounds meaner than a stock SS at idle. ONLY AT IDLE! :D

If you wanna loud V8 idle, get the flowmaster, but it will sound like a chainsaw at high rpms.

Im new to the board but i have a 95 3.4L with a Dynomax turbo muffler and love it. A Z pulled up to me, we raced and afterward he said what happened, I was like this is a V-6 dude, he thought it was a Z by the exhaust. Not saying it completely sounds like one but it does sound good.

Go with the Flowmaster, I use to have a 94 Camaro and had a Flowmaster and loved it. Many people came up to me asking me about it. Dynomax isn't as loud and doesn't have as much rumble. And after it burns in, it gets much better.

FLOWMASTER ALL THE WAY! They sound great at all RPM ranges on our 3.4L cars!!!

..on 3.8's they sound ricey at high RPMs...

...and you cant beat the flowmaster de-acceleration gurgle noise u get with the 80 series..

here is the model number u need -->

I also use a Flowmaster knock off called Flo-Pro. I'd suggest using one of them. I get alot of comments on how good my car sounds.

I'm new to the board but i have the flowmaster 80 series and it sounds good at idle and even better at low rpms(2000-3500)but at high idles you can tell its a six.I would still recogmend it though for an overall great muffler.sounds great and won't put a hole in your pocket.

                            coming soon..
