Would my car (1996) benefit from having manifolds from a newer (98+?) car?

I'm particularly concerned about temperatures - thanks.

Well, the manifolds didn't change until '00, but i am not sure if the benefits have been shown on a dyno yet. Although, they do appear that they would help performance.

They're basically shorty headers, so that will help a tad. also, gm claimsit was for 'increasing convenience of changing plugs and wires' or something to that effect. so yeah, it's beneficial
