Throttle Bodies

Do they make throttle boddies for our 97 3.8's? if so where can I find one, if not WHY THE HELL DONT THEY? or can they?

Back in the day Thrasher made a modified 3.8 TB It went from stock 65 mm to a whopping 67 mm. I think www.zzperformance.com has something similar.

So far I don't think anyone has gotten to the point where they need a bigger TB.

Power gains were extremely small from the htrasher 67 mm :(

1) Limited market, not cost worthy.

2) With the MAF in the way the throttle plate can only be increased so big.

3) The present TB is large already (see the details in the Tech Database).

Thanks guys. Ive been reading this site for a long time and I havent been able to find anything on it.

Get a throttle body spacer from street and performace and take out the air screen. I am gonna at least try it. Raises throttle body 1 inch. Should be a decent gain.

TB spacer from where? U mean SLP street legal Performance? Ive been looking for one Email me if u have or know of a place that has them for the 3.8
