I was looking at my stock intake today, while putting a breather on the valve covers, and i've been wanting to change it ever since i got the car. so i went to an exauhst store and after taking measurements i bought some tubing got it mandrel bent and powdercoated it black. My plan is to remove the vented cover beneath the headlight on the bottom of the car and making a scoop from steel. Now i need to decide on a filter. I know every one is going to say K&N but are ther any people who've tried others? Does this sound like a bad idea, should i just buy a 200.00 dollar intake,(which i think is a rip!)
