  • stealth composites intake?

hey all, saw this intake on two sites, one is the fast toys site, http://www.fasttoys.net/9398fbodyframes.html its the third product down and looks pretty cool just wantd to know if its actually worth the money (300 bones!) or if a whisper lid or some cold air thing would be better (its for a 2001) anyway here are some pics too thanks.

i have it and i used to have a whisper lid i felt a gain switching. i like it its more clean looking to me the only thing i dont like is the dryer duct going to the throttle body youd think for that much money you would get something cooler. im still trying to come up with something to replace it. and if you get it follow the instructions down to a tee when installing they are helpful

Hey blackbyrd, is the inlet to the TB in the center of the Lid? (Like LS1) If it is, I'll just get the V8 Model.

blackbyrd...I have some black racing ducting that works much better and doesn't look as bad. I use it for my 98 lid.

Get a K&N Aircharger instead for around $250. I haven't used the Stealth Composites one, but I know the Air charger is worth it. I added 16 HP over the regular intake with a regular K&N Filter (the hood and exhaust were the same in both measurements).

sorry its been a while umm bluebird yes but where i bought mine from the v6 one was cheaper than the v8 who knew. still it may not have to do with the opening in the lid but the base of the box and where it attaches to the radiator.

speedy v6 camaro where can i find this stuff cause that would be bad arse.

the thing is 375, and in the first pic, it looks like its on a 93-97 TB, not a 98+
