    Help Please

    I am at the end of my rope.. had ses light.. scan at auto zone 420 02 sensor . changed o2 sensor..
    light came back.. went to mechanic with a real scan tool.. said old maf code was in computer.. changed maf sensor.. light back again..

    when i start car in the morning i hear a rattling sound that goes away once the car warms up .. this
    has been going on before the ses light came on

    any ideas.. going to last resort "the dealer to get another scan to determine if my cat has gone bad.. i have only 55k on my car a cat shouldnt go out this soon.

    any ideas

    P0420? you need a cat. your mech is an idiot. no MAF code is even close to a P0420. they are all P01xx codes

          changed the cat problem solved.. didnt need maf sensor or o2 sensor.. should of went with my first mind and changed the cat. didnt know there was a factory warranty on cats.. though i had to pay.. went cheap route and change maf and 02.

          lesson learned: go with first mind and check this web site for good info...
