    I have had my CAI for 1 and a half years and have never had a heating problem.
    SLP CAI, K&N, Whisper Lid, 180* thermo, manual fan switch, 3.42 gears, Auburn Pro LSD, Wester\'s PCM Tuning, TSP Rumbler, High Flow Cat. Best Time: 9.909@71.58 (1/8 mile)

      the intake is diffrent on 98 and newer cars (airlid) uses radiator air for intake

        Correct,

        The 98+ SLP CAI's actually sit between the condensor and radiator.

        The right hand side is actually shooting up from under the car. You're looking at the space between the condensor and radiator. The fans would be at the top of the pic on the other side of the radiator, front of the car is at the bottom.
