  • Is there a cone filter out there for the 98+ cars?

I was thinking that that should be the best thing at geting the air in I have never seen one built for the 3.8 with the newer front end, is there a link out there for one? I still havent ordered my wisper lid so I am looking in all directions.

no. Get a holley power shot air filter, whisper lid, and a SLP ram air intake instead. That would be more effective than a dumb cone. Cones always remind me of imports. Im glad we dont have them.

yeah, KN makes an FIPK now, but it is over 300 dollars, and ADAPTABLE for V6's (intended for LS1's), i don't think it's worth the money

RKSport sells it for $214, but I'm sure you could find it cheaper if you looked elsewhere.

I have the K&N FIPK and I love it, only thing I need to do now is get the 1LE elbow to replace what im using, but its hard to find, and SLP is the only place I can find it but I have to wait for them to call me and go through all that, anyone know where I can get a 1LE intake elbow? Possible pretty cheap?

Maybe you should look into that ram air kit that SLP and Fasttoys.net have, im not sure about this, but wouldn't those be the best to buy next to a ram air?
