Right now I have a cutout right after the cat. It's not too loud so I leave it open all the time. If I got a high flow cat how much louder would it be. A little louder would be good, but I wouldn't like to be capping and uncapping it all the time.

I just got a highflow cat a few weeks ago. I don't have a cutout, but I have flowmasters, and my exhaust is about 3x's louder than the stock cat. I have a highflow and the cutout sounds great. But... Im differnt than u I already forgot, I have an electric cutout, so I can open and close it, but closed it doesnt sound the same as capped with a metal cap, but open is not as loud as uncapped, its got a valve on it that opens right but when its opend the air passes over it and straitens it out. so mine wide open sounds pretty good, but with it just open cut out =D I love it, but I was afraid of a ticket, ( I ve had mroe than enough already) but like, It is definitly awesome I get [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] :eek: From the v8ers around town. And I love how I can hear it over my $2k in stereo when I let it rip.
