I was thinking of putting 3-inch pipping on when i get headers, but my american thunder cat is only a 2.5. Would it be worth the trouble putting 3-inch up to the cat?
Iam looking mostly for the sound, but i know it will help on top end alot.
I would not recommend 3inch. I noticed a considerable drop in low end from 2.25" to 2.5"
It will sound great with headers, but IMO performance will suffer. Stay with 2.5" unless you're going with power adders such as nitrous or sc.
