I have the edelbrock cat back on a 96 V6 and I must say... I don't like it. It sounds very ricey. Anything over like 2500RPMs sound like a$$.

Try getting a CAI. That made my car sound a lot deeper and i have yet to get a cat-back.

I had my dynomax installed yesterday. I love the sound, REALLY loud from idle to 2K, just as deep and not quite as loud from 2-3.5K and like a v6 on steroids after 3.5K :D not ricey at any RPMS

I agree on Dynomax. It may not be as loud as the Flows but it sounds nice throughout the ENTIRE RPM band. Why does everyone want the "V8" sound. I'm happy with it sounding like a bad *** V6. At least it doesn't sound like a ricer, it has its own unique sound.

Does anyone have a sound clip of a B&B on a 3.8?
I'm > < that close to buying one and would really like to hear it before I do.

I guess I am the only one here with a HoOkers Aero chamber muffler. I have a z28 catback along with the muffler, it sound very nice!! I believe it is better than a flowmaster, its not tooo loud, it is very deep. I would definitely recommend this muffler.

I always thought that the Hooker would work very well on our cars. Also the Flowtech Warlock muffler that is in Summit, you can make adjust it with a flange, like a cutout. Good choice with the Hooker!

If you want the ultimate in sound and loudness and more hp then any other catback, go 2.5" strait pipe from the catback. i got it on mine and made it dual. at low rpms it sounds soo deep and nice. and past 3k rpms it sounds like a nicely tuned sports car i love it ;)
