headers need not be included under "exhaust" until further down the line.

as far as the nitrous goes, make sure you understand the basics before diving into it.

hp has NOTHING to do w/ ricers. ricers are all about that big wing in the back of front wheel drive cars and making poor lil 4 bangers take as much PSI as they can possibly handle. Really, the closest thing to rice you're probably gonna get is turbocharging, and even thats kinda iffy because there is so much more use for a turbo than on a 4 cylinder. Talk to the pro-stock guys who have big blocks turboed. they'll tell ya how ricey there cars are. moral of the story, hp and torque are pretty close to one another no matter what you do, that is unless you wanna stroke the hell outta the engine and make it run on diesel. hp comes from hi rpms (think indy cars) and torque comes from longer strokes typically found in diesels (think big duely trucks and semi's). thats y hp almost always peaks later in the rpm range than torque.

so answering your question, yes, all that stuff WILL improve torque and hp as well

Is your car a manual? Put a B&M Ripper. Techinically doesn't make your car faster but the feel is so much better and the throw is shorter and more accurate. One of the best mods I ever made to my car.

i hardly think turboing is ricey... read it as: the closest ur gonna get to rice is turbo, and thats not very close at all.
