i want the look of dual exhaust

ok, this is what i want to do - have my car look like it has dual exhaust, but i dont want it to be loud.

I finally told myself, i dont want to rice crap sound on my car, so i just mainly want to put a stock-like exhaust on that is dual (catback).

What are my options? I heard some flowmasters were really quiet.

I dont mind it being a little loud, but i dont want no rice sound crap on mine.

what you want then is a z28 takeoff exhaust, or maybe one off a y87.

anything aftermarket is going to be much louder than anything stock.

yeah, flowmaster would be too loud and rice for ya. I would go like Loochy said and put a z28 or y87 muffler on there

Thanks to both of you, i will check them out.

Also, are they complete bolt-ons, where i dont need anything? Or will i need some stuff to install tem? Thanks.

Also, i heard a review about an flowmaster muffler, and the person said it sucked, because it was hardly any louder than his stock.

I dont know what crack that guys on but my flow is a lot louder than my stocker.
as for installation, it should be a direct fit other than the inlet size will be i think 1/4" larger than your pipe. nothing that cant be worked with when welding it on.
when it comes to finding one, i would look around the for sale sections of f-body boards. there are quite a few so good luck

Check the forsale section quick! somebody was selling a whole stock dual setup for 30 bucks i think

dont buy the z28 mufffler, it sounds ricey, ive had it.
get a y87 muffler and be done with it.

Thanks, i made a reply, but how is it a stock muffler with duals? Where does the exhaust go into the muffler??

There is one inlet, then two outlets. Its the same design as aftermarket dual exhaust mufflers for our cars, but its just from the factory.
