anyone with a 96 have an o2 sim? can the o2 sim work on 96?

i need to pick up an o2 sim for the code im throwin, for the post cat o2 sensor. i want to get the caspers one, however it says its for either 97+ or 98+...... I figure that is wrong, and it would work with any 95+ with OBD II and the post-cat sensor. Can anyone verify that, or if you have a 96 and an o2 sim, does it work properly?
