o2 sim

Im planning on getting new exhaust in a couple weeks. and ive been back and forth a hundred times on whether to straight pipe it, or put in a hi-flow cat. either way, when i do, what am i going to have to do about the o2 sensor, can i just leave it alone, or do i need to replace it?

And get a high flow cat, not a straight pipe.

haha, ****. well, if it does what it sounds like: simulate the airflow. does that mean i have to actually install it into the exhaust system?

You just replace the sensor with the simulator. It simulates having a good cat.

leave the o2 sensor in the pipe, unplug it from the connector that wires to the pcm, and plug the o2 sim into the connector the o2 sensor ran to. its a snap.
