what do you think is better....A 3" mandrel Intermediate Pipe wihtout a cutout or going with a 2 1/2" intermediate pipe with a 3" cutout by the cat?

Are you talking about the pipe that is right behind the cat cmblack? The curvy one? That's the S pipe. Yeah the one after the S pipe...? I have someone selling me one and i want to know which one is better? He has a 3" intermediate and a 2.5 with a 3" cutout that he is selling...Wants me to choose which one i want....Comment

i want more sound...I have 80 series Flowmaster right now with 3' inlet and dual 3" outlet with 4 inch tips! ALso have a hi-flo cat but no headers yetComment

No, that pipe is designed for 86 to 91 F-bodies. I don't believe anyone actually sells a 3" S-pipe. Just make your own with a U bend pipe! Take a 3" U, cut it in the middle, flip one end around, and weld them together.
