That resistor mod is whats called a supporting mod. It will make your fule mixture a bit richer depending on which ohm u use. By it self all it will do is make tour exaust stink and your gas milage drop. But with a mod that requires a richer fule mixture it could actually add HP. Like a hot ignition system. It doesnt add HP it just support other mods that would require your engine to have a hotter spark to prevent knock. As for a quick cheap stand alone mod, no it sucks(gas).Comment
