SLP RAI or Whisper lid. which gives the greater performance boost?

the exhaust work i'm having done might cost about $100 less than i thought. i'm considering a Whisper lid or the SLP RAI.

which of these would give me the greatest performance gain? there is only a $20 difference, so that doesn't matter much. i would think the RAI would give you a little more, but i'm not sure.

well, most likely, the cai would give more power gain possiblities than just the lid, but if you get the lid and rai, you will see simular gains compared to a cai. its really up to the look you want cause if you dont like the tubed intake, like me, than i would recommend you get the lid now, then buy the rai later on when you have alittle more cash.

sorry, my bad. i meant to say RAI vs the lid, not the CAI. i see they're two seperate items.

i think i might go with the lid for now anyway. the RAI looks like it could be a PITA to install.

The Ram air is a bit harder to put in...I think you'll see better gains right now with the lid.

O' ok. yeah, do the lid first. I didn think the ram-air was hard at all. i did it in my drive way with very basic handtools. I think all you really need is a box knife and a screwdriver.
