Ok I have a 95 3.4 and I've noticed a steadily growing exhaust leak that sounds like running water. Now I tried to pass a car today and it wouldnt go passed 5k and now its really loud and wont rev above 4k in neutral. Would this be a clogged cat?

Re: clogged cat?
for one it wont rev above 4K in neutral because theres a rev limiter. from what you've said, it doesnt sound like a clogged cat. if it were clogged, you would have really really ****ty acceleration. I really dont know what that noise could be from.2000 Camaro 3.8l T5<br />whisper lid, free ram air mod

Re: clogged cat?
when your getting on the highway or accelerating hard past like 40 (or lower i guess it could happen...) does the car "bog down" and sound like crap / doesnt want to accelerate? if it is...yea thats what i'd say your problem is. also on mine at leats, if i accelrated slowly once i got up to speed it was kinda "ok" but for sure like gettin on the highway =massive boggage.......=catalitiyc =broke/clogged
