i dont know if you can. Why in the world did you buy an ls1 lid, when there are plenty of lids built specifically for our v6?

very true, unless you got it for a steal.

try using some dry/air ducting, alot of people use it when they get rid of the air silencer on the 98's.

if you seach for air silencer removal you can find out alot more, pay attention to the ones involving 98's.

IMO, you just shot your whole intake in the foot. you are probably not going to get any gains out of that LS1 lid cause of the intense bends that are going to be need to make that center point meet your downward angled throttle body. just go to home depot or lowes and find some dryer ducting

i saw a thread with pics about this before....the ls1 hole is in the middle, our's is off the the side. im pretty sure it was this board it was on, but i could be wrong. he had to do alot more work than i thought was worth it.i'll look around for it.

not only is it just off to the side but on the 98- intakes, it points down and away from the lid hole of the LS1.

I would put it back on EBAY and get yourself the K&N FIPK kit Gen II . Its worth the $250 or whatever it costs now !

well if the hole is off to the driver side, then your good to go. when you described it as a LS1 lid, then we thought you had made a mistake
