I did the cat delete mod today. A little more raspy but its throatier. Is it normal for smoke to come out of the tail pipe after this mod?

Definatly agree with th 2k3800, dunno if it hold true for these cars, but on some cars if you CEL is on then your car goes into "Limp Home" mode where it leans out the fuel mixture among other things, so it loses performance.

You're talking about the "reduced power mode". (including an SES from my headers/hiflow cat before I installed the 02 sim) I've had several check engine lights in the period I've had this car, but it's never done that to me.
