can i just cut off my exhaust at the y-pipe without having any issues with the car? do the 02's do anything besides emissions monitoring? do they have any affect on performance if left unplugged?

Re: cutting off exhaust
The o2s in the exhaust manifolds are definatly important but the one after the cat. convertor is stupid. It doesn't affect performance having the SES from no post cat sensor if that's what you are asking. Your car is going to be loud as **** and vibrate though.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99
