Ok, so I have the new exhaust setup and the power gains are very noticable. However, when I am not push on the gas pedal just kinda coasting I will get a random hollowed out rattling can sound? I don't know why but it is louder than the exhaust! I checked for axel clearance and its fine, any ideas? Maybe a heat shield? I have a 3" cat, s-pipe, TSP rumbler and Z28 style tips. Any help would be great, b/c as of now I regret this mod completely. The exhaust note is sweet but that hollowed out rattle noise is horrible. HELP!

some clamps are probably not tight enough. on my stock exhaust the hanger that held up the tip kinda got worn out and loose, and it rattled horrible at like 2-3k, pissed me off

It's all welded so it's not a clamp I will check the heat shields tonight, I hope I get this figured out. BTW Vanb...you'll here me before you ever see me now if we pass each other lol, this thing is loud.

The damn noise was from the stupid tips....they buzz like a chainsaw on sheetmetal. The tips will be history soon, I think I'll just get turn downs

I was about to ask if you had checked out the tips. They have built on clamps so if its welded it could be that or it could just be a sounds caused by your tips' inlet being 2.25in. At least you know what it is now though, just gotta fix it :)
