    is it really worth it to spend the extra 100-150 to buy ceramic coated headers over painted ones?

    depends i guess, coated will keep things cooler, look better brand new, and look nicer 4 years from now.IMO their worth the extra cost. TSP has then for $321. http://texas-speed.com/shop/category...MID=7&catid=45

      it was worth it for me. I would rather spend 100+ extra then see rusted headers only a short time after install.

        and don't forget the heat. non coated headers will melt just about anything within a close proximity of it. thats why the stock manifold have heat shields around them.
