I thought my cat was bad so I jacked up the car so I could look at it and it seems that the other owner already cut it out and replace it with a straight pipe. nice.
Now..one question, what are the pros and cons of this?
I have a 94 auto 3.4
can mess up the o2 sensor... but they probably already fixed that... you won't pass the emissions in some areas... increase flow and power!
no after cat o2 sensors on the 3.4L to mess up, and being in flordia he has no emissions or inspections for that matter. a car moders dream. I would leave it like it is. I would cautious you if you go to a 3" exhaust, you might actually loose power then. an extreme lack of back pressure can be a bad thing.
why did you think the cat was bad? is somethign messed up?
