what can I do to improve my cars intake and exhaust? My exhaust is stock and came with 2 pipes but I was thinking of adding a electric cutout to it and getting it welded because when I hit bumps it moves like crazy. I also need some ideas on what can I do to my stock intake to get more power from it. I was thinking of buying a intake lid but I don't wanna spend 120 for a whisper lid I see some lids on ebay but they are for ls1 will these work for my 98 v6 camaro or what. I will appreciate any ideas and what is this fra mod I keep hearing about

and no the LS1 version wont because our throttle body is offset to the left, i think, a bit and the V8 is in the middle

instead of buying the whisper lid just cut off the baffles in your stock lid. the ls1 lids won't work since they are not offset like the 98 model. just take off the baffles, sand it down smooth, do the free ram air mod if you want... you can find it at installuniversity.com and then if you want, get some tubing or ductal and pvc pipe to make your own tubing to the motor. i do suggest buying a slp cold air intake... its worth the 120 bux on ebay. oh yeah and a new filter. you should see a good boost with all of that. good luck... my 98 was a pain at first... it seems like everything is made for 99 and above or 97 and below... but good luck.
