well the story is i finally finished my exhaust-let me give you some overview also. in the beginning was the flowmaster, recently the pacesetters, and finally the cat. i welded a 3"/2.5 reducer to the 2.5/2.5 magnaflow cat. then i made the 2.5" S-pipe and welded in an 02 sensor bung , both from summit-also made a hanger since the reducer pushed things back a bit. a lesson to go 3" exhaust not 2.5 doh!. ne way I cut off the slightly not straight part, since it wouldnt fit ne way, in the I-pipe and put another 2.5/2.5 adapter to connect the S to the I.

at first nothing then after a few days SES light and I thought not much of it. but today a few days later driving home from work I notice its gone. Im sure it was there going to work, any thoughts?

Mine did that too when I did my headers and 3" cat. It came on initially, and then went off again. Then it came back on and stayed on. But you might just get lucky! :)

I know mine did something similar. THe light does not come on right away because the computer needs to reset itself before a code will pop up. It usually takes about 100 miles or so. When the light went off again did you reprogram the computer chip or disconnect the battery?

The computer doesnt reset itself, it runs test cycles, and some take longer than others. if you fail the test(i think its actually the avg of 3 tests) it throws a light.

ok my car needs to make up its friggin mind. the SES was gone for about the same time it was on maybe a lil less, but then it came back on and stayed on for a good while now. then today 7/1 i go over to my sisters condo to help her paint and when leaving i notice its gone. and its gone for all of a couple of hours. i drive to my cousins to watch the awesome Manny Pacquiao kick butt, 2 hours later its on argh.
