I have read that getting headers for any V6 Camaro past 1999 would not make any difference because GM put higher flower headers stock. Is this true? Would headers make a huge differeence on 2000 camaro A4 3.8 L?

Would putting tubulars on a 97 make any difference? Would they even fit?

for a 97, you need to bend the ac lines to make clearance room. It would be an improvement, but not as much as headers on a 97Comment
