I am researching the Pacesetter headers for my 2002 camaro, and I was wondering if there were any modifications that had to be done in order to make them fit. Also, how difficult was the install, and typically how long did it take? Thanks.

well if you read deep enough, you see that the egr wont hook up right, it is recommened to go ahead and buy abbott gaskets and some locking bolts for the y-pipe. you'll need some full length bolts with some locking nuts. it is difficult and you need at least one day to do it.

So is the kit that they include with it any good? I read on here that someone got an LT-1 EGR hose...will that work?

thats becuase you dont have an egr valve lol. anyway, i've been looking into this too, hopeing to oder them and have them on before we get snow here. the erg hose gives some people trouble, but its nothing major. i plan to get good gaskets though, as ive read of leaking issue's useing the stock or the ones pacesetter gaskets.

Another thing I meant to ask about was everyone's opinions about them. I am not expecting any big power gains, but I would like to deepen my sound a little bit. I have a ravin muffler that is quite loud already. What should I expect, and what were your experiences?

Thanks for all the help so far guys. I am in the process of trying to get my hands on some pacesetters. My one last question is about the abbott gaskets. I looked on abbott's website and I did not find any header gaskets. Does anyone have a link?

with all these problems with pacesetters you still want to buy? I know I will never buy pacesetters after all the problems I have had. have you considered RK sports? as for HP gains, read this:

                              http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...2&page=1&pp=30

basically an increase of 6hp at peak and 10 hp under peak hp.
