Just call me the goldilocks of exhausts. When i bought my car i had stock 2 1/4 piping and a flowmaster on there. Sounded nice enough, but wasn't really v. loud. So i upped the ante to 3" and bought the hooker cat-back.. but to my suprise i found it wasn't much different... infact most people didn't realize that i'd changed my exhaust at all! So that had to go as well, although again it sounded nice enough. So just this week i had a guy bend me up a 2.5" catback with a glasspack on it. I figured it'd flow well, and would be louder than the hooker. Unfortunately i was right...
Car is reeeeally loud now... ridiculously loud... too loud. You see a lot of posts to this nature, but at least the loud mouth and TSP rumbler sound good. The monstrosity on the underside of my car has such a drone its given me a migraine
So needless to say its going to go, infact i've already ordered its replacement from summit: a flowmaster 80 series with 3' piping. I see a lot of people on teh board have them, and i heard a sound clip which i really liked. So hopefully this one will be "just right".
