Alright so the flowmaster muffler with the two 4" tips is damn LOUD.....Outside the car I dont care about, I just dont want that drone inside the car. Dynomat is too expensive for me. What can kill off the drone inside the car(its pretty loud..sounds like there is no muffler). It just cant cost an arm and a leg. I want the inside sound to be just about gone.

Re: Question about inside drone
My flowmaster 80 series with resonator on the I-pipe has very little cabin noise but a good amount outside. it got a bit louder with the pacesetter headers, magnaflow cat, and custom s-pipe-but nothing unbearable.
a resonator should mellow it a bit if u dont have one-RJ \"Like trail mix I\'m a lil sweet but mostly nutty\"<br />Metallic Blue 2001 3.8 Firebird M5<br />FRA,Smoothed Air lid, Homedepot Intake, K&N Air Filter, MSD Coils & Plug wires, Iridium Plugs, Flash Tune, 2.5 Flowmaster Catback.

Re: Question about inside drone
It's a pain in the *** to do, but exhaust wrap will muffle it a little, but if you're going to go through all of that it's probly alot easier to go with the resonator. You'll just have to weigh the cost vs. effortRebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...
