Hey guys, I just picked myself up a 94 Camaro 3.4 L auto with T's
Its got the Borla on it already, and I was just wondering if it should be pretty deep and throaty.
It sounds good with a bit of revvs, kinda deep at an idle. It isnt anything very deep though (I cant say much, as I havnt heard a stock 3.4, and didnt have my camaro before the exhaust was on.)
I was just wondering what my exhaust should sound like say at:
Idle - (currently) sounds slightly deep and has some throatyness to it
Standing Revvs - (currently) You can hear the exhaust for sure, and when the revvs come down, it kinda cackles (which I actually like quite a bit).
Hard accel. - (currently) Sounds nice till about 3000 - 3500 RPM, then it isnt noticable, it just fades out (I want something that will scream up top too).
Highway Cruizing - (currently) Sounds alright, just how I would like it to sound, a little raspy, but not to loud.
So, another question, what can I do to get my deepness and throatyness up in the higher revs, and maybe just higher overall. (Besides Headers, I cant quite afford them yet, maybe in Sept.)
EDIT:: Note, the moving sounds are from inside the cockpit, I dont quite trust anyone but dad and myself driving this car yet, and dad knows better then to floor my car when Im watching.
